Marx's view of Jews was racist, and incorporated the stereotypes of 19th century anti-Semitism. Marxists maintain that Jews are an aberration of European society, who have developed objectionable social characteristics. These will be corrected when the socialist revolution makes everyone equal, and Jews will become citizens of the world.
