Revisionism
1 - Revionist Zionism - Zionist political movement, founded and led by Ze'ev (Vladimir) Jabotinsky in the 1920s urging accelerated realization of Zionism in form of establishment of a state, claiming the East bank of the Jordan river as part of the territory of Palestine, and emphasizing self-defense and use of force to stake Zionist claims. Opposed Weizmann's leadership and mainstream Zionist politics during Mandate as too moderate. Later formed the Etzel (Irgun) underground and the Herut party, which eventually became the Likud after merging with other parties.
