ISRAEL INSIDE
How A Small Nation Makes A Big Difference
Israel Inside: How a Small Nation Makes a Big Difference is a new feature-length documentary that explores the positive characteristics of Israeli society from a humanistic, psychological, and emotional perspective. This insightful and uplifting documentary sidesteps the usual conversation of politics, conflict and violence, and tells the story of the Israeli people – whose resilience has propelled Israel to the forefront of world innovation and progress.
Despite daily challenges ranging from limited resources to security needs, Israeli creativity and inventiveness help make the world a better place. Israel has made significant advancements in the fields of science, environment, medicine and technology, and has shared these developments with the rest of the world.
How did this happen? What underlying growth factors have given rise to this small nation’s triumph over adversity?

Taking Support for Israel to new heights!
the GIBEON project
In August 2011 the vision was birthed to ascend the highest peaks in each of South Africa's 9 provinces to declare our support and solidarity with the Jewish state. Hiking and climbing these mountains is quite a feat and demands some physical preparedness to not only reach the top, but
to do so in 38 days starting the 3rd of September and hopefully ending on the high holiday of Yom Kippur.
Our action stems from a deep love for the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The declaration is a manifestation of our unwavering support and identification with the Jewish people.
As South Africans we pledge our love and support from the southern tip of Africa by lifting up an ensign on the mountains for all to see and blowing the trumpet for all to hear.
What is in a flag? Generally a signal; figuratively a token, banner or standard. Raising the two flags together signals a message of solidarity, a message from South Africa to Israel that says “You are not alone”.
What is in the blow of the trumpet? In general, it can signify an alarm of war, a call to assemble, or a command to march. The blow of the trumpet or shofar signals the call for all pro Israel supporters to stand together with Israel.
The name Gibeon in hebrew means hill; This is the hill where the God of Israel appeared to king Solomon and granted him wisdom and understanding to lead the people. In the book of Kings it refers to Gibeon as "for that was the great high place". Interestingly this is also the place where the ark of the covenant stood before it was moved to Jerusalem.
In relation to our project, it is significant in terms of great high places and our need of His wisdom and understanding as South Africans supporting Israel.
Israel and its citizens need to know their friends and supporters are standing with them at these harsh times!
